They were right up until they turned Ilsa Faust into just another Refrigerator Girlfriend. Smart, capable woman character must be sacrificed for no reason other than male protagonist’s motivation. I’m just so fucking tired of the trope.

Most of the Asian restaurants near me that I’ve tried are bland and sad—not to mention ridiculously expensive (the closest pho to me is $43/bowl(!)) I did find a great Thai place near my office with good lunch specials tho
