This is one of those things where the framing bothers me. "Should be optional." they say, as though it's a legitimate option that can be reasonably taken, rather than an unethical planet-destroying plagiarism-born abomination.

Putting aside how dumb they are to have to cheat, morally it's disgusting too. It means they don't care to actually be competent on the road, but they want to be on the road anyway. Fuck everyone else's safety I guess.

I'm art illiterate, don't have the knowledge nor vocabulary to put into words what I like or don't like about it. Usually my brain will shart out something like what that person said and then I'll just keep it to myself

I sometimes describe how things were when I was growing up thinking it was relatively normal, only for people to look at me like I just described a beheading. Have learned to keep quiet about it for that reason.

This happens to me all the time because we have a staff lift and a public lift lobby next to it, and people press both buttons to use whichever comes first. I shout "FUCKER!!" each time in hopes they'll hear me.

I do a similar thing with names. If I say "anthony and Pauline were there" that isn't meaningless inconsistent capitalisation, that's intentional disrespect
