Just read the Finnish edition of La Mort de Spirou and I hope we get its follow-up translated soon too. At one point Fantasio uses a few interesting weapons against some goons: volumes of Akira and Riad Sattouf's autobiographical L'Arabe du Futur.

Bought a pencil case that conveniently can fit two TCG deck boxes. Also, some candy: the chocolate mummies will serve as D&D figures.

Finally got one of the cheap dice trays sold at Prisma hypermarkets. Officially listed as a decorative tray, but many locals have been using these for rolling dice. Great price too, these are currently just €1.50.

Made it to top 8 at the local Lorcana Fabled set championships, so I got the fancy Maleficent in addition to the participation prize version. Also decided to use store credit to get a Pokémon Mega Evolution booster pack and pulled the regular Mega Gardevoir EX.

I'm close to the end of Super Robot Wars Y, but I'll be making a detour into the Shire before finishing, thanks to this library hold coming in today.

Went to the local pre-release tournament for the new Lorcana set Fabled and came in second, only losing a round against the player who came first.
Also picked up a starter deck for Gundam Card Game now that they finally had some available.

Finally got around to reading the recent Finnish release of some of John Byrne's Fantastic Four run, consisting of issues 241 to 247. Most have been released in Finnish before in the 80s, but the first story with Black Panther was left unpublished back then.

It arrived today in their weekly shipment. However, that shipment also included a booster box for the new Gundam Card Game, so I ended up buying 3 packs when I went to pick up my book.

Went to see Superman and absolutely loved it. Also ended up winning a t-shirt from the random seat number raffle the local cinema had for opening night. Unfortunately on my planet S stands too small for me, but still a neat prize. Other people won a cap and a comic book.

Picked up some Pac-Man candy. The store also had a similar bag for Tetris, need to buy those at some point too.

Went to a flea market and ended up finding another BAT version 2. Just like the last one I came across, this one didn't have any of its original gear. However, it did come with a diving helmet and an air tank that I believe belong to some CORPS figure.

This volume that was published as a tie-in to a museum exhibit of Tezuka's original art. I was on a pretty tight deadline, but the chance to translate a true classic was worth the long hours. I still hope that one day I get to translate more Atom into Finnish.

Went to the library to vote in the local elections and had a random encounter Surge the Tenrec. The library often has exhibits of art made by kids and teenagers, but this is easily the wildest thing I've seen there in terms of pre-existing characters.

Had a fun first time playing Star Trek Adventures. I played an Efrosian botanist, though her specialty didn't end up being of much help on this particular planet. Fortunately she was also good with computers. Pictured here is our ship's Vulcan captain.
