A Raven was found shot near Agden Side Road, Bradfield, in the #PeakDistrict. Do you have any information that could help the Police in their investigation?
It is believed the bird was shot between 24-25 August.
Ravens are a protected species - to shoot one is a crime. See below for more:

Great to have some good conditions for Barnacle Goose ring reading in North Uist today. CNH and CSX (pictured here) were with 3 juveniles near Malaclate. Also a bonus (locally scarce) Mistle Thrush in the same area. Was very mobile and pretty unapproachable. Also a couple of Porpoise off Balranald.

You may have spotted devices along the River Tarras recently! These are water temperature loggers installed by the Galloway Fisheries Trust, part of a network monitoring river health. This data will inform restoration efforts and climate adaptation, aiding species like Atlantic Salmon and Trout.
