Well for the last book in our Väsen campaign I did write an in world short story of some 10 pages as well as a series of visions of about the same length. Both did end up being quite appreciated though so no regrets there

Yeah makes a lot of sense. I just find that when I have those windows, half the time I don't have the brain which leads to what I can only call frustration 😆

Fully agree. The point of making things should be to enjoy doing them (at least to first order) and if you enjoy making it then who cares if there are 15000 other ones out there, this one is yours.
