Tabletop Scotland may be smaller than UKGE, but sometimes less chaos means better conversations.
In our new retrospective, we share what we learned as indie TTRPG exhibitors and why we’ll be back.

This didn't get sorted out for 2025, but is on the list for 2026. We'll make sure there is an actual option for cyclists.

Compared to last year, 9% more of you came and 6% more of you came for multiple days!

Big thanks to everyone involved in organising and running @tabletopscot.bsky.social 2025! Great event and enjoyed the set up at Ingliston. Look forward to next year already! #Boardgamegeek
A display featuring a dragon and a warlock with hex spaces around d the edges and 'Tabletop Scotland 2025' across the top. It is festooned with blue and white balloons, some of them shaped like dice. Which is appropriate really. Various cards and dice arrayed on a dark blue table cloth. The aim of the game is to cover your dogs with dice with the right number of spots. I forget the name of it! The game Sagrada is being played. You make pretty stained glass windows with dice of dice differing colours according to the design you are given as well as public and private challenge cards. It's a very pretty tabletop game. A big board covered in hex spaces. Trains are shipping cubes across the Low countries for victory points. I lost, dear reader.

I am very broken (and broke) after Tabletop Scotland but it was so good! My favourite expo ever! (And I’ve been to a lot). I have a lot of reading to do over the next week while but looking forward to trying everything out and hearing from kickstarters. Thanks @tabletopscot.bsky.social

So today I'm mostly resting up from @tabletopscot.bsky.social thanks @ascotwithscotch.bsky.social for running Abbadon for me on Friday! I really appreciate it. I had a decent weekend esepcially for networking and catching up with folks! I also ran a one shot for Skies Above for kids no less!
Photo of various character and monster standees for Skies Above and boss monsters on cards! A photo of my notebook for initiative and the selection of hero standees for the characters being played!
