oh i need to get back into kickboxing, i did it for a while and it is really fun! and v cathartic to hit things

i just try to remind myself that sometimes (always) the bigger positive things happening rely on the smaller things happening. and trying to prioritize small moments of joy. playing more regularly in bands again, making art, etc. hope you have your outlets and supports. dog pics help too 🙃

sorry more context, i’m in east austin, have been for many years

of the toxic combo of fear and hate these communities are experiencing. it is really rough right now.

honestly, i work for an org supporting families impacted by incarceration and deportation (will prob erase this later) and this year has been the worst in my 2+ decades of doing nonprofit work. no one wants to help with anything related to these populations right now (or kids in school) bc

i hate how much abbott is trying to get in with musk, it’s two of the worst dudes clamoring to outdo each other to pwn the libs in a contest where the rest of us all lose.
