There is absolutely no need to follow me, but if you do, there are things you should know:

1. This account is for stream-of-consciousness, unplanned posts.
2. I'm not here to argue with you.
3. I block frequently. See above.
4. Don't be a dick.
5. Equality for *all*.
6. I'm openly Black.

Yep.

And most of the time, you don't need to kill bacteria anyway. You just need to be clean.

All that is in the play, yes. The allusions are there.

About thirty years ago, I could recite Lucky's monologue.

Now I only have fragments of it in my memory.

Sigh. I am a shadow of my former self, friends.

34 people found that review helpful.😁

I find it odd that a theatre-goer hasn't heard of Waiting for Godot. I had heard of it and read it before I even saw it.

I, for one, applaud the colour coordination of moustache and...is that a trilby?
tadethompson.bsky.social
Not anymore.
I fully expect to be betrayed by every single one of these motherfuckers sooner or later.

Ten short years later, he's shilling the technology that sucks up fresh water...

Hypocrisy takes a decade.

George Miller, 2015:

"We shot the film 'old school.'
As much as possible those are real people, cast and stunties, in the speeding vehicles and catastrophic crashes. Every behaviour, every moment of fight and stunt choreography were the product of a shared vision."

Inky October day 9: wrestling.

From now on, it's going to be mostly wrestling because youngest son wants a book full of them.

I don't even like wrestling much.

I'm going to say this again: nobody does paranoia like Steve Ditko. Not before him, and definitely not after.

I'm a canonical character!

The first four are really good.
The next two are good.

Everything after that, I'd give a miss.
tadethompson.bsky.social
Right?
It's not hard.
If you can't do it, you're not ready to spar yet.
tadethompson.bsky.social
That's exactly it.

I think he took my holding back as me not knowing how to hit.

I bet he won't try that next time.

Same as bullies.

Diary of a Middle Aged Karateka:

There's an etiquette to sparring.

You don't hit hard (unless by prior agreement). If you do hit hard, you're signalling to your partner that you want to be hit harder. Sparring is for technique, not power.

Dude hits me hard, so I hit back.

He whines about pain.🤷🏾‍♂️
