I’ve been saying for years that elected officials should earn minimum wage and only what food stamps and social welfare they qualify for based on that wage. It would change what they think their constituents deserve!

I love the Earthsea books and have loved them for decades. The HP books came out when I was a teen and I enjoyed them, found them cute and fun, but I wanted to LIVE in Earthsea. The world that LeGuin created was deep and complex and spoke to parts of my soul in ways I don’t have the words for.

That’s one of the great things about needle felting. Violently stab this over and over and you’ll get something cute in the end!

It might be worth reaching out to Tin Can Knits. They have a fantastic app for their own patterns where you select the sweater, yarn weight, and size and it pops up the pattern specific for you. I have a friend who I recently taught to knit who has been using their app and she LOVES it

Who Framed Roger Rabbit. The scene where Judge Doom revealed himself to be a toon freaked me out. It still makes me VERY uncomfortable. Also that poor little shoe and the Dip 😭

I like how the emr system at the clinic I work at has an “organ inventory”, because it doesn’t really matter what you had when you were born, but knowing if a patient has a prostate/cervix/breasts currently is the actual important info to help determine what care they may need
