All right, I think that's it for me for now. Doing a catch-up on Monday threw me a little out of wack mentally, but I am still enjoying this long ramble format. It really lets me think about what's going on in my life in a way I normally don't do.

I will say, between: work, losing weight, trying to improve in fighting games, and now this... I might be running myself a bit thin time wise. Maybe one of them will take a hit, but I am spending this year doing what makes me happy, so oh well.

Anyway, now that that's out of the way, it's time for fun project discussion. Mom was able to get a deal on a 3D printer for $50, so I now get to mess with that in my free time. I've been wanting to look into one to get into prop making for cosplay, and this is a good first step.

The good news on that front is I am still employed, but I need to buckle down hard and make sure I keep myself healthy so I dont pass the point of no return.

Luckily, I am over the bulk of my health issues (god, I hope), so we are hopefully out of the woods there and I can focus on other shit.

First up, since this is me speaking my mind... let's get the sad and scary out the way.

This week, I spent a good portion of it thinking I was going to lose my job. Between last years health issues and this January getting hit with pneumonia and flu double whammy, I missed a ton of work.

Anyway quick thoughts over, ill be back on Thursday with whatever comes to mind. I have been enjoying doing these, and like with today, if anything happens ill find time to make it up.

2XKO is officially back in the weekly rotation again, but Cait might not be a part of it. She feels a bit too complex for my blood, and similar to Vi, I hate charged button inputs.

That being said, I think Darius will be a mainstay for a long while. He fits me so well its insane.

So, I actually learned today that there is actually a reference. it's just that it has transcended the reference and become "funny number because funny."

Nonsense humor to me is at its best when its said, never addressed, and moved on from quickly. The longer it goes on, the less funny it is to me.

Oh yeah, new Anime season. I joked about it on Discord, but I might steal @dash346.bsky.social's idea of a review thread of content. At the very least I might limit it to everything but games. Im sure ill make my thoughts known when games fun, but I dont tend to talk much about the rest.

I kinda hinted at it with my reply on the Cait trailer, but I think my fighting game hiatus might be over for now. Im very excited to play her and get back into the swing of things. She gives me Black Dhalia vibes and between her and Darius i might have as close to Dahlia/BB as I can in 2XKO.

Speaking of FFXIV, man 7.4 is great. Kinda feeling a similar level of intrigue to this as I was during stormblood into shadowbringers start. Also, Arcadion peak. It genuinely may have overtaken Eden for my favorite tier. Tanking is finally fun again, man.

I do think some of the "attacks" could possibly just be infrastructure issues that are being hidden under the guise of DDOS bc its been going on far too long, but some of them for sure are attacks and those people are just lame. Do something productive, man.

Got a samsung watch on Monday (mainly to track steps, but will use it for many things), and there is one dangerous thing with it. The ready access I have to Google wallet from my wrist is gonna be very dangerous whenever I go on vacation. I can just imagine my poor wallet screaming from afar.

First things first, weight loss week one has made very slow progress. Still fighting after effects of Pneumonia and its made me very low energy, which does not help calorie counting. Im still "trying" to do what I can, but being sick sucks.
