My heart is full after celebrating Chelsea and Joseph yesterday for their baby shower. Our family and friends were so thoughtful and generous, and the kids will have all of the things they need to welcome their first child. ❤️

Last batches of holiday cookies have been baked today. These last 10 dozen bring this years total to 58 dozen baked, plated and delivered, and/or served to guests. Expensive?Yes. Exhausting? Yes. But worth every minute for the smiles they elicit every year.

Time to start cooking, dinner will be 4:30-ish…it is not fancy here, but it is plentiful - everyone gets their favorite sides, even though it’s far too much food. We will have leftovers for a week. #Grateful

Step One- complete. Star needs to go on the top, and gaps need to be filled. By Thanksgiving, the house will be fully- Christmas-a-fied! And why, yes, that sleigh will be used for all future Holiday pictures with our grandchild!
