I learned today there are three types of curiosity:

The Busybody: The gossip, collecting info on many topics just for interest.

The Hunter: Focused on specific answers, avoiding distractions.

The Dancer: Leaps between ideas, creating new connections

What I learned this week:

Adult numeracy & literacy is declining in high-income countries, including the US. This chart from Jonathan Haidt is concerning. A growing percentage of adults struggle to use math to evaluate claims. Makes me wonder how this impacts decision-making in our society #data

I loved Michelle Trachtenberg for her role in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, but it was her role in Harriet the Spy that really struck me!

Her notebook is where she processes everything, good and bad. We forget how crucial it is for kids to have that outlet. Rest in peace, Michelle. #Writing #Journaling
