This has been happening for a while during a variety of sporting events. I think they realize that we can fast forward during commercial breaks when watching recorded shows. It’s too short of an interruption to be worth keeping the remote control in hand.

When I got married I changed my name with social security using birth certificate and marriage license. Had no problem getting a passport 35 years later. Everyone accepts this as my legal name. I just don’t understand why it doesn’t apply to voting.

Since miscarriages are categorized as “spontaneous abortion” the word abortion doesn’t always mean what they think it means. Not elective termination but just our bodies response when a pregnancy is not viable. (I had three miscarriages and when I saw that on my post surgery report I was shocked).
