There, got it done! I went as realistic as I could with the cat anatomy, and I was pretty smeary with the effects, I'm really happy with it. What do we think, folks?

I still have to add in the cats and then layer on some visual effects to reattain that initial feel of organic softness, but... as I said on stream yesterday, this might be my favourite pic of Max I've ever done, and the closest I imagine to the "real" her.

On the plus side, at least I got this pic of Bellina done, finalizing the design of her outfit for that guided JOI comic / sex-magic ritual to become bonded to her as one of her pact patrons concept. I hope *someone's* interested in that.
Bellina Nyteshade (magically enhanced human, she/her) wearing a dress (with matching hand-thingies that connect to gold rings on her middle fingers and draping down her forearms) that's actually two intertwined double-figure-eights, one in red, one in blue. Her hairbands, collar, and complex strappy heels all match, purple with gold-coloured orbs. She is gesturing and smiling in a welcoming way, in a vague grey environment, and the Rod of Midnight (an indestructible black rod with one round end and one flat white end, approximately 10"/25cm long and 2"/5cm in diameter) is hovering next to her, as it usually does. There is a distinct chromatic aberration in the lineart, with blue skewing to the left and red skewing to the right, making her pop away from the background, which does not have that feature, making her somehow seem both less real (as in not a tangible object as we know it) and more real (as in powerful and real) at the same time.

Today's #Paletteuary was another one where I just... y'know... did the thing. I honestly don't know what more I'd add, if this pic wins the vote, but whatever. Sometimes, when you try to summon something up from the depths, you don't get what you were expecting.

Today's #Paletteuary, yet again, consumed way more time than I should have given it, but hey, I couldn't leave my boy Zedd in monochrome green! His colours are important, and his vibe has always been intended to be just as trippy as it is cool and placid.
Zedd (anthro hallucinogenic treefrog, he/him), upside down and tripping balls. His colours are vibrant and distinct, yet he still manages to be as vibrant and as complex as the abstract mess of colours around him. Oh yeah, and his pupils are dilated, his pince-nez shades are emitting strawberry lemonade lightning, and he's upside-down (relative to us). Paletteuary, an art challenge for January.
