I want to do motion prediction once I can find a good freely licensed database, but ragdolls are definitely an important part of it.

I have such a high frame rate that I want to do motion matching. Has anyone got a good motion matching database trained for mixamo rigs?

Building a MMO engine on Flecs. Runs nice at 69hz.

I think I worked out how to vibe code. You gotta get reaaaal relaxed so you can review the code but not write the code.

I really liked the ChatGPT 4o they released last week and it sucks they rolled it back. :(

I'm booked to go to Paris, Milan and New York later in the year on a work trip - but I honestly would rather spend that time down at Westport driving the ute or working on my PPL.

Being Autistic is awesome for my finances, but sucks for being a fancy traveller man.

When I was first building voxels, I could always top up flagging motivation on a long work day by daydreaming about fast cars I'd buy one day.

That hack no longer works and I had to shift the goal posts.

Been playing with the Analog Rytm lately. The pads are quite hard, but I forgot how lovely the elektron workflow is, and the sound engine is amazing (once you remember to turn up the drive).

I did my first solo flight on Saturday.

I had an extra cool voice on when I advised I would be making a full stop (to drop off my instructor). After landing my circuit, the tower congratulated me. My voice broke when I said thank you to them.

2 years work.

Going to Openstar on Monday to see some friends and serve at their HTS windings. There's a bit of a HTS scene in Poneke, which gives me hope for success at building my synchrotron.

The last 3 days:

* Drifting the caravan
* Jumping the ute
* Burnouts in the mini
* Wheelies in the tractor

Then I'm off to CERN next month. #bogan

Had a beautiful few days in Westport.

I'm excited for the Navion to get here. It is all steam gauges and is beautiful, but I hope to get some GI275 avionics in it and a GFC 500 with field approval.

And a CD300 one day. 😅

I am slowly working on my direct air capture plant; I have a neat plan to 3d print zeolite into a matrix using a ceramic 3d printer.

It’s so hot tonight. It’s the middle of autumn. I always feel worse about global warming in winter. In summer it’s easy to forget.

In winter you’re constantly reminded.

It’s funny to miss the cold.

I found this neat proposal for a 12GeV proton synchrotron.

This weekend:

I want to build a proton synchrotron of ~12GeV. I think it will be the largest privately funded synchrotron.

I've got monitor audio bx5s at the office and a pair at home. The office has a giant triad gold subwoofer - but the speakers run off a class-d reciever.

The speakers at home run off a class-a/b rotel integrated amplifier and they go so much harder.
