David Lynch was/is an inspiration. I saw ERASERHEAD at the Nuart Theatre on Santa Monica Blvd. when it was released in the late 70s while I was working on the first Star Wars.
I was captivated in art school (as were Brian Eno, David Byrne, David Bowie etc.)
