Maybe? I’m not that familiar with military jargon. It just sounds like they made it up. Either way, I agree that it’s just meant to make everything seem normal.

Autistic here, and same. I never understood the driving need some people have to be like everyone else or the way they feel justified in criticizing and/or bullying anyone different.
