Moonlily with an appreciative smile takes Talen's gloved hand to shake it as he smiles back to her. Moonlily: I wish to thank you once more for being a guard and guide for me while here. Talen: I'm happy to have-- [Shot of Moonlily having jumped back with her hands positioned over her chest while concern is on Talen with his arms slightly spread out at his sides] The sudden shout for help startled us with me nearly jumping out of my skin. It would seem I would become witness to what happened if along, and without hesitation we ran outside to where we heard the shout from. [First panel The pair stand between the gap of the banister at the top of the stairs while first panel a woman scoots away from a merchant with three thugs behind him] Coming to a stop at the edge of the fountain and pausing in the edge of it as I ignored water seeping into my boots, we leaned between the gap of the center of the banister as a panicked woman on the ground scooted way from a decently dressed merchant sneering at her. Hired thugs stood menacingly behind him. "I didn't steal nothin sir, please! I bought it with me own coin!" The man accusing her snorted, clearly not believing her. If I was a hrothgar my fur would be bristling a great deal. "That is a lot of rot. You being a refugee wouldn't be able to afford the worst or best meat!" He then sneered at her. "By rights, I should turn you over to the Brass Blades, you know─help keep the streets safe for law-abiding citizens." I felt a soft growl unbidden emitting from my throat, and heard one from Talen as well. The next thing the man said had my blood run cold. "But I'm a reasonable man. If you agree to serve me in...whatever capacity I require, the authorities needn't hear of your crime." He laughed, the 3 men along with him. [Panel 1 The woman has scooted backwards to safety while Talen is fully crouched from leaping down after Moonlily slowly getting up with finger pointed. Both with angry faces. Second panel the man smirks at them.] The grizzly mode of me was instant without me having to think of it right then, and I leaped down beside the woman, and by the sound of booted armor connecting with the ground Talen followed me, landing on the other side of the woman. and doing a quick glance over I saw my guide and protector in this place with shield ready while the woman stood and moved away to safety where she wouldn't get caught up in the fight that would probably follow. At this the men behind the accuser readied for a fight while the main man glowered at us. "And who the hell are you two? This filths master?" Though they were small I bared my fangs with a loud growl. "We are not. We come to her side to protect her from you and your thugs." He gave a half smirk. By my guess if he was alone he wouldn't be showing so much brovado. "My men shall teach you a lesson for not minding your own business." Talen pulled forth his shield as he responded. "The only ones who will be tought a lesson is you and your men."

Tall bun wife giving smol cat hubby a... bunnyback ride. More on the white lines on her face. Shadowbringers after defeating Vaulthry and nearly becoming a lightwarden herself, Moonlily lost her star freckles in the process white decorative glowing lines formed on her face, only for the glow to them to die and just become a light scar.

About 3 weeks or so until im finally free to go back to my other half @midnightstarkina.bsky.social and I cant wait, 2024 was rough to deal with and im hoping things calm down over here enough so I can go without issue.

I havent really posted much here, but im happy to see follows back from the people I know and care about from Twitter! It sucks cause I found a lot of wonderful people there, and I know some are choosing to stay despite it, so im staying as well, though ill also be here! Happy to see everyone!
