The problem is that Bengals Ownership is cash poor so they can’t put the money upfront like you have to do in a signing bonus situation. They have to do it on a weekly basis using game revenue. Only way they can is if they take loans out and Mike Brown hasn’t before so chances are he won’t again.
Joe Burrow keeps pressuring the Bengals to pay their best players. If they won't, the name Carson Palmer eventually could become very relevant to Burrow's relationship with the team.
