I don’t see Palantir #$PLTR winning this (in court and especially PR-wise). #timestamp

Au contraire, a “Barbra Streisand effect” is pretty much a given after their David vs Goliath lawsuit targeting Republik.

Another good recent Republik article on Palantir:

www.republik.ch/2025/12/09/w...
Warum Palantir zum Risiko für die Schweiz wird
Zürich dient dem US-Unternehmen, das heikle Software verkauft, als Drehscheibe.

According to its own figures (as of 2024/2025), the Swiss digital magazine Republik has around 30k - 32k paying members and subscribers.

These are tiny numbers, especially on a global level.

Sample article in German (Republik did more on Palantir):

Überwachungstechnologie: Wie hartnäckig Palantir die Schweiz umwarb
Das umstrittene Tech-Unternehmen blitzte wieder und wieder ab. Teil 1 unserer Recherche.

For example (link above):

Why is #$PLTR pushing so hard to attack a Swiss-German online newspaper with a relatively tiny distribution? More corpses in the closet in other countries? #timestamp

PS: A fourth one could be Databricks. But they don’t appear to be in a hurry to do an IPO….

WSJ News Exclusive | AI is Driving Record Sales at Multibillion-Dollar Databricks. An IPO Can Wait …
‘The markets seem pretty shut,’ says CEO Ali Ghodsi as the company announces $1.6 billion in revenue for its fiscal year, a 50% leap from the previous period.

Yes, $40k is quite (or even too) conservative.

I was looking at higher Ioniq 5 trims with AWD and longer range, then deducting 10-20%.

Am I way off with these Waymo cost assumptions in 2026+ (ignoring the older Jaguar EVs)?

Base EV (Hyundai Ioniq)
$40,000 (mass order, rebates vs retail price)

Waymo 6th-Gen Autonomy Hardware
$15,000 – $25,000

Integration & Calibration
$5,000 – $15,00

Total Estimated Build Cost
≈ $60,000+

I was just curious, going through my list of “Elon’s broken promises / vaporware announcements”.

Yes, Elon’s mass drivers:

“Shooting AI satellites into deep space…”

What’s the point of shooting AI satellites into deep space again?

Weren’t they supposed to be floating in LEO? (Elon said last week).

It’s hard to keep up with all the BS and vaporware plans from Elon to pump the SpaceX IPO.

“Toyota is a dinosaur, will vanish before the end of the decade”.
