Another day at #pierheadstudio . Today I’ve been recording with my Yamaha SY22, vector Synthesiser The SY22 was my first big digital synth and I fell head over heels in love with it! I call it the ambient machine because of the incredibly emotional soundscapes it can supply.

... and so, recording these two Tokai beauties (L-R a cusromised 1979 Tokai Super Edition Strat, 1983 Tokai V70BB ) via a Blackstar HT5 tube amp. That amp may only be 5w but it is loud as f@#k! Could barely hear the Monitor Mix over the headphones with the Mixing Desk monitoring amp right up.
