tbh i think if DE turned evil and also jumped on the gen AI bandwagon we could probably pretty easily bully them out of it.

latest monster hunter wilds hunt is great because now i can get mad at 7 longsword users simultaneously rather than the usual 3.

what i'm hearing from Embark re: the AI voice acting in The Finals and ARC Raiders is they just don't seem to perceive voice acting as an artistic or worthwhile pursuit, but still desire to benefit from it.

streaming on discord is fun because some games will crash if hardware acceleration is on and some games will crash if it's off and some games will crash if you do or don't have experimental screen capture on and some games will have audio or won't have audio if you-- etc etc.

on the other hand maybe attempting to scan my entire steam library and crashing on start-up every single time is not. smart.
