Hoping to catch a real marine heatwave, but the strong mistral winds cooled things down fast. Great for the sponges, not ideal for my thermal stress data!

ATLASea has just launched a new sampling campaign in one of the most iconic sites of marine biodiversity.
For the next 10 days, our team of researchers will be working around the #Endoume_Marine_Station in Marseille to collect samples of marine species from the surrounding area.

We have started yesterday a 2-weeks mission à Endoume marine station, to collect marine species individuals for @atlasea.bsky.social !
The perfect place for for the collection, identification and preparation of marine species samples to be sequenced... 🦐🦞🪸🦀⭐🪱🧬
