Nightbitch feels like talk therapy of the inner thoughts of a domesticated mother who lashes out as a dog. It sounds crazy but the humor, sincerity, and child-like pursuit of Amy Adam’s performance is great to witness. Not everything works but the film is honest & hopeful. sometimes that’s enough.

The wicked movie though entertaining is so lifeless and dull. Uninspiring to watch, one size fits all lighting that begs you to look away from the screen. I had to rewatch Steven Spielberg west side story to truly grasped how dire this was. Ariana and Cynthia were marvelous though.

DUNE Prophecy’s first episode is too afraid to trust its own narrative. It relied heavily on overly explaining the world we are about to encounter. I hope the creators find their footing in the future episodes. I’m hopeful to say the least. #duneprophecy
