Talking Over Transformers podcast - https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/talking-over-transformers--6333653
We are 2 Transformers historians and 1 guy who doesn't know who Jetfire is. We discuss Transformers, politics, toys & current events.
MOONPUNCHER by Ian Fleming
Slave patrols roam the streets. The gaping jaws of this monster named tyranny drip with the blood of innocents. Where the hell is John Brown these days? While we stand back & stand by for the reformation of the JBAKC, we kill some time learning about the origins of Notpimus Prime (aka Ginrai) over on:    Super-God Masterforce (超-神 マスターフォース) [1988]  After watching a guy turn into a guy in a suit into an engine into a truck several times, at a certain point one must ask, "why am i doing this?" Well the answer isn't coming any time soon, so in the meantime we keep marching on in the un-ending Parade of Metals in season three of:    Cyberverse Bumblebee Adventures [2020] We also tackle trump's plan of starting war on five simultaneous fronts, whether Lugnut is Clobber, and Rick Astley! Tune in for some fun surprises along the way and the answers to YOUR burning questions - such as: is an armadillo a Transformer? "Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them."

Bags of Babies
The US military kidnaps the leader of a sovereign nation, ICE shoots a young mother in the face, and all of Palestine continues to be destroyed with zero regard for human life. What could be a better momentary escape from reality than to argue about what color a cartoon robot is?! And we do just that! Starting with the 7ᵗʰ & 8ᵗʰ episodes of:    Super-God Masterforce (超-神 マスターフォース) [1988] We then get stuck in a time loop where we're forced to march in the same stupid parade ad infinitum... Certainly nothing ominous or portentous about episodes 4 & 5 of season three in:    Bumblebee Cyberverse Adventures [2020]  And in case that wasn't enough punishment, some greater force compels us to talk over the webisodes we missed of the new semi-weekly cgi cartoon:    Cyberworld [2025] On top of all that we try to come to terms with the most recent invasion of Venezuela, the murder of Renee Good, the bombing of Nigeria, rising toy prices and other current events. Plus, we uncover disturbing revelations that trump drowned a bag full of his own babies in the Hudson River. You don't wanna miss this one! or maybe you do. but you shouldn't. want to

RAGE!! Little Podcasters with Negligible Need for Rules (or microphones!)
After narrowly escaping another week of civil war in America and attempted war in Venezuela, we have a full plate of transforming robots on our ... plate. Starting with our headliner big baller shot caller top cheese program:    Super-God Masterforce (超-神 マスターフォース) [1988] After that, we finish the Battle for Cybertron with parts 3 & 4 of Chapter Three in:    Bumblebee Cyberverse Adventures [2020] Then, we finally, maybe, probably finished the absolute last webisode of:    Cyberworld [2025] On top of all that we talk expensive drugs, Buddhist philosophy, our favorite right-wing youtubers, and our least favorite authors. Oh and i almost forgot - we get deep with the issues of loyalty & betrayal in our recap of issue Nº 27 of the ongoing series:    Skybound's The Transformers comic [2025] Walk with us through the great shining path of giant robot corpses

Kidnapping?! Birth!! Child Soldier Juniors
Our Sears are in danger this week, as we investigate the mysteries of the great missing mall and the Director of War's missing NFL Peace Prize. We attempt to solve these, and other timeless enigmas, by watching episodes 3 & 4 of:    Super-God Masterforce (超-神 マスターフォース) [1988] Immediately following that brand new series, we begin a brand new chapter - Chapter Three. Specifically, parts I & II of Battle for Cybertron, this week in:    Bumblebee Cyberverse Adventures [2020] After that, stay tuned for what may be the creepiest PSA we've watched so far, as well as some of the Billboard top 40 singles of 1988! Listen in for structured conversation, sincere questions, and consequential topics. We talk TV. You talk some TV?

Superpod Mastercast 2: Return to Mt. Fuji (of the Undead)
Ayatollah Khomeini is supreme leader, Billy Ocean's Get Out of My Dreams is #1 on the charts and and the SF 49ers are on their way to winning the Super Bowl - the year is 1988 and we are beginning a brand new saga of robots & the humans who love them in:    Transformers: Super-God Masterforce (トランスフォーマー 超神マスターフォース) [1988] Then we wrap up the Power of the Spark with the last two episodes of chapter two over on:    Transformers: Cyberverse [2019] And bring it alllll home with what we hope & assume is the last episode ever of:    Transformers: Cyberworld [2025] We also give our own PSA about the danger turkeys posed this year and make fun of the hired goons running the administrative state in our country. There's no overall conclusion, but the participants seem to enjoy their shared experience

Operation: the Full-Scale Assault on My Friend Skullcruncher
This week we learn about the gross history of the dakko-chan. To get a sense of a contemporaneous American view, we read https://time.com/archive/6872262/japan-dakkochan-delirium/ about a racist doll which was apparently incredibly popular for far longer than it should have been. Which is never.  Oh, and we also talk over the penultimate episodes of:   The Headmasters [ザ☆ヘッドマスターズ] (1988) And check in on how Starscream is doing in the clink over on:   Cyberverse (2019) On top of that we make a bunch of crude and juvenile jokes about something very unfunny we heard not involving Bill Clinton & a certain best-president-ever. We also learn how to breathe in a car on fire underwater and Forrest recaps issue 26 of:    Skybound's The Transformers (2025)  ongoing comic series! Currently on a run by Robert Kirkman & Dan Mora and it is AWESOME      [link to the article in case the hyperlink doesn't work] https://time.com/archive/6872262/japan-dakkochan-delirium/

Battle for the Defense of the Attack on Hardhead's Soft Spot!!
What are any of us doing? Nothing is certain. There is ultimately no point in anything. Words only have as much meaning as the person saying them is willing to ascribe. No one is promised anything but pain & that's what we get and what we deal out. Time is not a luxury item. Every breath we take brings us closer to death and suffering consumes us. Is there anything waiting in the future? Well ... One thing i can tell you with certainty is that this episode of this podcast contains   Transformers: The Headmasters (トランスフォーマー ザ☆ヘッドマスターズ) [1987]   and  Transformers: Cyberverse [2019] in as much as we talk over episodes of these shows while we start our day and discuss how we feel about the last week. Along the way we might watch a PSA brought to us by the Action for Children's Television, take a quiz, get in a physical altercation, take a nap... It's gonna be a show - that we can assure you! alright

Danny gets pinched on Planet Beehive
We're all feeling our state-mandated emotions as we process the events of the last week, and we're fairly burning to watch more:  Transformers: The Headmasters (トランスフォーマー ザ☆ヘッドマスターズ) [1987]  Transformers: Cyberverse [2019]  Transformers: Cyberworld [2025] We talk over all that then talk some more! We talk about the right-wing response to one specific act of violence, while they ignore every single instance of state-sanctioned violence committed on the streets of America every day. We talk about toys we either want or already own. We continue to wonder where the epstein files are. We get EVEN MORE fire safety tips. We get serious about comedy and we make jokes about tragedy. We even open a bakery on this episode! Try it - we worked really hard on it!

UFO from Planet Sparkle
Another installment of  Transformers: The Headmasters (トランスフォーマー ザ☆ヘッドマスターズ) [1987]  to calm our nerves after an aboslutely insane week in America. Events occurred but i can't say any more than that or i'll be taken to a CIA black site.  Then we travel alllll the way back in time to the  Transformers: Cyberverse [2018] for some CGI fun! And finally, in order to remain topical and relevant in the modern world, we get caught up on the latest   Transformers: Cyberworld [2025] but don't really pay attention because it's not that great and the episodes are released all out-of-order. Plus we ramble on for a while about toys and check to see if anything interesting has happened in the news in the last week.  That's our podcast & we're sticking to it
