I keep hearing that the game logic in New Horizons is tied to the frame rate, but the newest game I can think of that does that is nearly 20 years old. What's the point in doing that in a game from 2020?

I've been playing Zelda on-and-off for 25 years. I've played at least a little bit of every mainline console Zelda game besides Tears of the Kingdom, but I've still never actually finished any of them.

I played a little bit of the Mario Kart 64 PC port, then accidentally spent all day making custom art for it for Steam. This doesn't even include all of the bad/redundant ones I deleted.

The Linux thing, along with getting an OLED monitor, inspired me to make some wood grain wallpapers to make my digital desktop look more like my physical desktop. What was supposed to be a quick edit of a wood grain texture spiralled out of control. I put them here: talkypup.com/blog/posts/2...

Finally just started to watch Twin Peaks for the first time since a million other things I like are so blatantly inspired by it and... holy shit. They really just copied all of the buildings in Alan Wake from Twin Peaks one for one, huh. 🤣

A lot of classic anime VNs I played fan translations of as a teenager have been getting official remasters and translations in recent years and I have consistently been unaware of each one's existence until at least a month after they're already out. Why does this keep happening? 😭
