Pilot Yama-budo is nice but I also mix it 3:1 with Shin kai for diy Lamy Dark Lilac 2016.

I've had dnd adventures like this or maybe even stranger or unsettling. What we don't have is someone that can tell the story this well after it's happened to someone tht wasn't there.

Paper is important too. The papers that show off properties of ink tend to dry slower. Start with Rhodia and see if that works for you. A fine nib will be more forgiving on absorbent papers, like copy paper, less ink to cause problems.
