My father’s family was from Ft William Ontario. Home to the uber-talented Paul Shaffer. As a kid, after school, he would go over to my aunt and uncle’s house, Yhettie and Mendy Helper. He wrote about them in his memoir. I saw him a couple years back & he told me he still keeps up with my cousins.
