#ttrpg dev tip: Players like to feel unique, so when designing anything special like feats, spells, etc. that are meant to set PCs apart from another, put yourself in a player's place & double-check that you're not dressing the same ability under different names. If you do, drop one & make another!

Random #ttrpg thought: When you name a new ttrpg you created, how much of your decision making focuses on the acronym your game could be known by?
For me, it's clearly no factor at all. I'm stumped coming up w/ anything for "E-Scape". ES? E? With hyphen or no?

Having a great time at #kublacon fall 2025 in northern California! The 1st event went great with 5 fantastic players. Running again today at 4pm and tomorrow at 1pm.

Some 3D printed tokens to be used for the game. Players can gain3 bit flips per session (blue). The other tokens represent assorted game clocks: timer (grey), suspicion (green), & noise (purple). The last monitors how "loudly" PC spell casts are in the VR system before authorities show up.

Hard to believe the project's gotten this far. A long 2+ years to get here, but well worth it!
