Getting Star Wars Vulture droid vibes, where the line is kinda blurry as to whether it’s a “ship” or Its Own Thing, except biomechanical rather than a robot.
Like the first time you see it you question is it being piloted or does it fly on its own because it’s a quasi living thing

In my defense, my father passed while I was in the middle of it so uh.
Yeah a game about grief, losing those you love and coping with it might have hit a bit harder.

So to my eyes it looks like if someone said “if you used this dirt cheap rifle to shoot a basic piece of defensive equipment, everyone dies and you are out of the campaign”.
I’m going to guess it’s a bit more complex than that

How clear would it be if someone has a shield, and how common are lasguns?
Out of context this feels like a really weird rule, but to be fair im currently vibrating between Lancer (which has a mech designed to go nuclear, make meat into martyrs) and Warhammer (“99% causality rate = victory”)
