Yesterday's weather was brilliant with highs in the mid 70s. Today highs will be in the 60s. Elon Musk's illegal takeover of USAID is a blatant abuse of power.

I'm saddened by the American Airlines crash into the Potomac River. The crash involved a Blackhawk helicopter. Prayers for all involved.

The temperature is in the 30s, but will be in the upper 50s later today. I have choir rehearsal this evening. It will be good to sing with other choir members.

Trump has already marginalized vulnerable groups. It's a dreary day, but just think how dark and without hope he and all of MAGA must be. Can't be filled with love when all you spout is hate.

Many activities occurring on this MLK day. I hope legislators can return to the American tradition of compromise. I hope that our children can live free in democracy rather than in bondage to an oligarchy.
