I’m an autistic dancer, music is a whole brain/whole body experience. I have a huge, diverse musical taste which I love. Except sometimes, SURPRISE, no music for a day or a week because all sounds are too many sounds. Neat.

Anyone who thinks this way obviously has no experience fighting for support, accommodations, or benefits for themselves or others, ever, in addition to being the absolute WORST. Some day they may need help, golly will they be outraged when they are denied, disbelieved, abused, blamed, impoverished…

This study was very limited and the sample population was very much not diverse. I’m not taking too much from this as an autistic person.

I am absolutely not. I am autistic with autistic kids. The fear mongering and blame game must stop. Cause/cure rhetoric is harmful, period.
