This whole situation sucks, and it puts the lie to Bluesky's claims about atproto being any kind of "new and revolutionary" approach to social media. It's still libertarian tech-douches swinging their authority around.

It does, and I'm cautiously optimistic, but reliance on Bluesky's AppView meant that Link being permabanned by Bsky effectively erased him from the supposedly "decentralized" environment—even though he's on Blacksky. As I understand it, unless both Blacksky and Northsky can set up their own relays…

Home from my new employee orientation.

The presenter introduced herself with pronouns. I was correctly gendered by everyone. No one was weird, barring the one woman who may just have been zoning out with RBF, rather than giving me stink-eye.
