DO NOT COMPLY. When I'm not railing against our criminal president and the dismantling of government, I like to talk about science fiction, Star Trek, comics, and pop culture.

On one hand, I don't believe this current regime of hate and lawlessness will last, because it is so transparent and so many of us oppose it. That doesn't make it any easier to get through each day, though.

I love The Fog! It is definitely under-rated.

After getting such a great gift of Planet of the Apes books today, I decided to put on the quirkiest Apes film, Beneath. I love this wackadoo film.

What a wonderful surprise! My pal @spyvinyl.bsky.social said he had a spare Planet of the Apes novelization for me. But I got this huge box in the mail. Besides the book, it was packed with a ton of POTA comics! By the Lawgiver, that's ape-mazing! Thanks, Bill!

The first Peanuts strip by Charles M. Schulz was published on October 2, 1950.
Four black and white panels of a boy and girl sitting on steps. 1st panel: Charlie Brown is approaching and the boy says “Well! Here comes ol’ Charlie Brown!” 2nd panel: As Charlie Brown passes, he says “Good ol’ Charlie Brown…yes, sir!” 3rd panel: “Good ol’ Charlie Brown…” 4th panel: Once Charlie is gone, “How I hate him!”

I've been reading the Tenutos book on it, playing the Horner soundtrack, and listening to the @inglorioustrek.bsky.social episode on it, now it's time to watch Star Trek III: The Search for Spock! 🖖

John McTiernan's Predator (1987): Predator head, art by Stan Winston

"James Cameron suddenly said, ‘You know, I’ve always wanted to see something with mandibles.’ And I said, ‘Hmm, that’s an interesting idea.’ And I started drawing the now-famous mandibles of the Predator."

Ghost Baby Clifford is here to announce that it is officially spooky season. Let the festivities commence.
a picture from an old Clifford book. Clifford is much smaller than usual, implying he is baby. he is holding a brown paper bag in his mouth and is covered in a sheet with eye holes. it is obvious he is trick or treating. his tail has action lines around it, indicating he is rather excited for both the tricks and the treats

A word I've heard used many times recently that I never heard before: "beclowning," as in "people are beclowning themselves." Three guesses in reference to what, and the first 2 guesses don't count.
