The study will look at the effectiveness of using a surgical drug post-operatively to speed up recovery. Tranexamic acid (TXA) is already regularly used during surgeries to limit bleeding. www.wvxu.org/health/2025-...
UC to lead study on inexpensive drug that could revolutionize ACL recovery time
The drug is cheap and already used during surgery. The clinical study will look at whether taking it for seven days afterward could speed up recovery times in teenaged patients.

The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade is my (marching band) super bowl. My winners this year are Damien Spartan Regiment (the small band with the black and gold swing flags) and the Spartan Drum & Bugle Corps with the gorgeous guard outfits and silks. Who was your favorite?

Volunteers will adapt more than 200 toys in less than 4 hours for children with disabilities
The toys will be rewired with large control buttons to make them easier for children with limited or restricted hand movement to play independently.
