Oh so you're a feminist? What is your opinion on the controversial legacy of Ulrike Meinhof?
"We are being repressed now. Courts that dispense no justice and concentration camps are already in existence. There are more secret police in this country than in all others combined..."

Was this said by a radical in the United States in the 20th or 21st century? Let the audience decide.

Must be nice to live in fantasy. America loves its concentration camps and has always had them regardless of party. You only care this time Red MAGA built them instead of wholesome and progressive Blue MAGA, who only imprisons the right kind of dissident.

Crazy that Gandhi was the ONLY person resisting colonialism in India. No one else in such a big country with a long history. But I suppose you've read all the history there is and can poach India's struggles because the United States certainly hasn't existed as one prolonged gun battle since 1776.

Lot of folks were NOT peacefully protesting in the 1960s-70s. Those were the decades of the Urban Guerilla and the synergy of illegal/legal means of protest is what forced forward progressive legislation (and also led to lots of social backlash culminating in the Reaganite 80s).

Lastly for now, I did some very cursory searching about Richard, here. Even his Wikipedia page puts front and center he rejected historical materialism in favor of consensus theory. Popular among New Left historians. So it explains why Settlers' starts at 1600 unable to look backward.
