It's meant to be a hobby you do on occasions. If it pops off, then you get invested. I'm sorry your going through this and I know what it's like to get into a hobby & go into a vicious cycle. It's ok to take breaks in-between to live out life before hopping back into it. 🥺

Do what makes you feel comfortable. Don't worry about what's happening on the vtuber scene and model wips, what's important is you. You and your significant other are the main focus, not everyone else's. At the end of the day, keep yourself from doom scrolling and focus on happier activities. 😊

I'm sorry you're going through that, I don't usually talk to people unless I'm prompted to. I've grown up in an environment that told me to shut the hell up from everything & everyone. Now I don't talk to people online. If you would like to talk, I'm always reading in the sidelines & lurking around

No, you're not dumb, you are doing what makes you feel comfy and your partner is allowing to have your space. The fact he doesn't bat an eye for the stuff you like, means that he really cares for you. I'm sure a fan who watching anime with their waifu merch is doing something that's comfy to them. 😁
