Trusted by maritime insurers, oil producers & traders, finance, governments and top news orgs to track down oil shipments. Vessel pronouns are she/her. Got it?
TALARA (9569994) will most likely appear in this red area on tomorrow’s satellite imagery. It is known as the Khuran (or Clarence) Strait, located north of Qeshm Island, Iran. This is where the terrorist-designated IRGC anchors vessels they have hijacked in international waters.

This morning's (2025-11-03) hi-res images show that the oil terminal at Tuapse, Russia is working on containing the oil spill caused by yesterday's "drone sanctions" by Ukraine. One of these three tankers is a known naughty but not on any G7 government blacklists. Only on ours.

“Yes, this was the first time we saw a dark STS transfer of Russian LNG in this part of the world. Oh, and CCH GAS did a lousy job at spoofing,” says Samir Madani, co-founder of TankerTrackers.com, Inc., an online service that tracks and reports shipments of crude oil.

Analysis of today's satellite imagery over Tehran shows that multiple storage tanks housing petroleum products such as gasoline and diesel in Shahran (northern part of Tehran) have been destroyed last night. The aim of this was to cause fuel shortages and power outages.

An importer in India is now resorting to the same playbook that Chinese refiners use when smuggling oil. In these two recent cases, #tankers blacklisted by US #OFAC and laden with Russian crude transfer their cargo to vessels that are not blacklisted. The oil is then delivered to India.

The latest futile move we're seeing by the Dark Fleet is for a tanker to be disguised on AIS as a tugboat.

IZUMO (9249324) is doing just that. Measuring 272 x 46 meters and capable of carrying 1 million barrels at a time, she is as far as you can get from being a little tuggy.

"Boss, were we supposed to spoof AFTER arriving at Kharg or before? I forgot the order."
April 27, 2025 at 7:09 PM
There are 26 tankers today at Kharg Island, Iran. They are all visually identified as part of our routine satellite imagery tagging process. We also specify which tankers are laden with oil cargo and which aren't.

All available on our Dark Fleet Map.

To eliminate any doubt as well as misinfo/disinfo, AQUATIA (9299769) did in fact arrive with Russian crude oil to Baniyas, Syria. Here are fresh photos of her fully laden upon arrival at the Baniyas anchorage. You can see her Barbados flag. #OOTT

BREAKING: For the very first time, Russia has just dispatched 1 million barrels of crude oil to Syria. Despite Syria’s 6-month sanctions waiver for oil imports by the outgoing Biden administration, the OFAC-blacklisted SABINA (9524451) has been tasked to deliver.

Our research shows that today's decision by US Treasury's OFAC to sanction/blacklist ten tankers affects vessels that have been responsible for lifting at least $5.4 billion worth of Iranian, Venezuelan and Russian oil. #OOTT

UPDATE: Within just 15 minutes after our initial post here, JADEAR had faked her departure from the ship-to-ship session with DUNE. The vessel is falsely appearing on AIS to be heading up the Strait of Malacca but we have obvious indications that the vessels are still engaged.
