I know it’s unlikely, but I think there is a possibility that the Phillies could swing a trade for Shea Langeliers. The A’s also need a 3rd baseman, so you could package Bohm, Marchán, and a mid level prospect for Langeliers. The Phillies can sign Eugenio Suarez to a 1-2 year deal to play 3rd.

The Phillies traded Strahm for Bowman, a worse bullpen arm, but who’s tough on righties…this seems to be a real focus this offseason. I’m assuming he has minor league options. Clear salary dump.

I’ve felt that the Phillies have too much pitching to extend/resign Ranger, but he’s pitching too well to not seriously consider it.
