Honestly, I thought they were faking the injury because there was really no room for him on the team once Raffy became the DH. I guess not.

Their West Coast trips are usually pretty bad. I was fooled by that Seattle series. I thought it would be different. It wasn’t.

So it’s OK where it serves Raffi, but not where Casas is concerned. To be honest, he had a legit gripe, but to take grounders only at short is as petty as it gets. Not with that contract and the fact that he got all that money without having to be a team leader or spokesman. I’ll miss the bat.
