100 fewer people were killed or seriously injured on Welsh roads with 20mph/30mph speed limits in the year since 20mph became the default in built-up areas.

It’s the reason we campaigned for the change.

More needs to be done to ensure no pedestrians are killed on London’s roads. Worrying provisional data below…
Provisional @transportforlondon.bsky.social data shows that 61 (55%) of the 110 people killed on London's roads in 2024 were pedestrians - a rise of almost a quarter vs 2023 (49 pedestrian fatalities).

In October 13 pedestrians were killed on London's roads.
