My brother bought me the special edition of The Fellowship of the Ring movie (4 disc set, green box with maps and books, etc) when it was released. I'd have been 18 ... I was pretty pissed off as Tolkein never interested me before. Watched the film out of obligation and blew my mind.

I live close to Stonehenge, but closer to Avebury- recommend a visit there too! Huge stone circle with a beautiful village. They have the only pub in the world within a stone circle, and it is supposedly very haunted too!
