I make a living writing science fiction and fantasy. Mostly fantasy. It's been said I've never met a trope I didn't skewer. I'm good with that. Also, there's cats. And knitting. she/her
I have a similar opinion about the federal Greens and the Ontario Greens.

Oh, and I have a really good box liner so the box is in better shape than the rest of the truck. 🤷

Back in the day, I looked all over the county to find a stick and that was the small ONLY truck I could find that wasn't an automatic. Twenty years later, I didn't even try.

I really wanted an Escape hybrid but it was about 10K over my budget.

I know, right? I had no problem with me driving a twenty year old, rusted truck into town in bad weather but I was not having the Beloved do it.

Engine works great!

Just under 14K sticker, just under 20K with taxes and transfers.
Price included snow tires on rims.

I've loved both my Rangers. Unfortunately, age catches up to us all...

Wasn't one in the lot. My county is where Ford Escapes go to die. (When we first moved here, it was Plymouth Reliants. We had one of those too.)

Wow. Were you ok?

PS: I kept the truck. It has no trade in value and we have a lot of dead ash on our land. It's now basically a six cylinder wheel barrel.

2017 Ford Escape, 66,874K, entirely affordable, and really responsive. Neither bells nor whistles. Seriously, I sat down, I understood the dashboard.

In sunlight, she's a weird gold/green. We're calling her Lumley because she's absolutely fabulous. 3/3

This morning we had to take the Beloved's car in for brake work and I realized I didn't think it would be safe for her to drive the truck back and forth to work this weekend.
So we stopped at the used car lot in town. 2/3

...in spite of Cuba derived incidents in the story. (I didn't actually try to deduct the trip so this could be unfair to the CRA, but I doubt it. And honestly, were I them, I wouldn't let me deduct it either.)

Available everywhere ebooks are sold. Shop indie if you can.

I haven't the faintest idea. The decision comes from Astra at a level I don't deal with. I think $15 is the absolute highest that should be charged for an ebook and I'd rather keep it under $10.

And that should be "...where, given the themes of..."

And you know the really annoying thing? I had a single letter left of my 300 and that's where it should have gone. Argh, I say. Argh.
