Finally met the super cool @pulmyears.bsky.social last night at the legendary Strand bookstore! His Todd Rundgren book is one of my most favorites (not to mention "One Dumb Guy" about Kids in the Hall), and I can't wait to read his new book on John Candy!

Finally caught the Rockonteurs ep with Sean Lennon, reminded me of seeing Yoko with Sean's band IMA at the Knitting Factory(! -- it was a pretty small club). An absolutely MIND-BLOWING show. Yoko is not only about the super avant-garde material, check out this track! www.youtube.com/watch?v=OgZW...

The Cookout by Chef JJ Johnson was A VIBE. Photos: 1) my favorite spot: a Ford's Gin martini fountain 🤯 next to the raw oyster man, 2) Chef JJ's pernil -- I took a bite of this and saw god, 3-4) Sugar Hill Creamery's amazing dessert, one of the best things I've ever eaten! And GREAT music & people!
