My heart breaks that we will have to bear another administration with this malevolent narcissist. My heart breaks at the pain and suffering he will wreak. It’s a dark day for our country and I fear we will not recognize it when this administration is done.

I had so much hope that we would begin to see common sense gun control reforms. Now I still have to be aware of where I can hide, and what I can use as a weapon, anytime I walk into a grocery store. Or a school. Or a church. Or a synagogue. Or my job.

I had so much hope that it would finally be my body, my choice. Now I still have to fear men who believe it’s my body, their choice.
