What about when States need their National Guard? Say to defend protesters or the midterm elections? Who gets to decide what’s unnecessary or wasteful? The current Congress? I just don’t want to push for anything that could bite us later. Is this just for Federal deployment?

Same. Been a Pats fan for a long time. It’s been hard seeing Kraft and Brady be POS-both supporting/friendly with Trump and one also being involved with a prostitution ring. Kraft has said he doesn’t always agree with Trump but that he was supportive when his wife died. No excuse now. Take a stand.

These are just the federal charges. There was a conflict between the remaining charge(s) and the dismissed ones. But there are still state charges, including murder/homicide.

Also, aren’t people allowed a hearing before being deported? They are just deporting people. This is how US citizens get deported.

I just read @marcelias.bsky.social newsletter and the way the Rs are trying to pass it, is to attach it to must needed bills that has to pass. We must all call our senators and tell them not to vote for those bills if the save act attached to it.

This is good. But let’s call for defunding the DHS. Re-organize the needed orgs back where they were prior to the forming of the DHS.
