I turned my back to put away laundry and this sweet girl had pushed herself into a sitting position from lying down. A huge milestone!! #downsyndrome

Baby’s first back carry and she fell asleep while I was wrapping her. Wasn’t expecting that lol. This is SO much comfier than a front carry. A game changer! #sixmonths #downsyndrome

Six months this next Monday and suddenly she’s showing all signs of being ready for food. We tried avocado today and she did amazingly. She was shaking with excitement as she reached for the spoon. She definitely inherited my appetite. #downsyndrome

One of my favorite parts about the weekend is that the local paper captured me 7 months pregnant and 3-putting on the 9th. What a special memory to share with my daughter someday lol.

I’ll play anything above freezing if it’s dry and wind is minimal/out of the south. A NW wind off the lake? Absolutely not. We had a warm winter last year (shaping up to be the same this year) so we managed to play on xmas eve in the 30s. The body stays warm when you’re carrying a bag.

Great news: the kid loves the snow and cold. Today I tested out my plan for hunting with her in the snow (a lightweight sled that I can maneuver through the woods) and she had a blast

I have a lot to be thankful for this year, but most of all, I am thankful for a healthy, uneventful pregnancy and birth. I feel very lucky that I was able to stay active for the full 40 weeks. I even played in two-day men’s golf tournament a week before she was born! #downsyndrome
