Even if I would have had a different opinion than them, it would have been acceptable. They could have argued, why they think they are right. Instead of labeling me as a "stupid person."

(My analysis could be wrong though. I hope so.)

There are the stupid people and there are the intelligent people. And the intelligent people have to abuse the stupid people to do the "right thing".

The sad thing is, before I figured out, why they likely didn't get what I said, I thought they were a nice person.

Also, they then tried to convince me of their position, seemingly trying to force consent. Not even realizing, I said the same thing they were trying to convince me of.

Even when I'm trying not to.
