I'd say "do a hackathon as if it's pre-2020".

Other than SHDH all hackathons I've been to recently are either kids smashing their heads against some vibe coding or experienced people with something they kinda built already.

At least in SF they feel dead on arrival 😭

I understand you not wanting to use genAI for this. I also find it weird that asking for people's labour for free is any different?

Not trying to start a fight. Or even chiding you. Trying to understand the thought behind this hard decision. And understand it is complex.

Not really sure what's going on. When I load it comes up with GZDoom window now (don't think it used to?).

And when I try to load an autosaved game it gives errors and bunks out.

I could start a new game and it works.
