The Kava campaign lasted for 2-3 years, up until the DM put the campaign on indefinite hiatus at the end of 2019. Considering what happened in the world after that, there is very little, if any, chance that that campaign will start back up again. I haven’t been able to find a stable table since.

My previous attempts to finish Baldur’s Gate 3 were where my character was one based on my second D&D character: a Dragonborn Oath of Devotion Paladin named Kava. The campaign I first played Kava in was run by a player from the campaign that fell apart, the one I first played Taryn in.

Her background as being formerly of the Zhentarim is one that I have adapted for her to fit into the narrative of Baldur’s Gate 3. Perhaps one day, I’ll share her true story with you.

Update: Less than an hour left on downloading Patch 8. Might get started on the playthrough tonight after all.

You’d think the flying enemies would stop harrying you when you got strong enough. It’s like they see the demons on the ground fleeing from your aura and they’re like, “Yeah, I can take him.” No sense of self-preservation whatsoever.

I’m old enough to not only remember these things during my elementary school days, but also remember them being phased out in favor of those Promethean smart boards back in 8th or 9th grade.
